Executor Buddy Terms & Important Information

Executor Buddy helps you gather your important documents in one place and choose who can see them. Think of it as a secure, organized folder for the documents your family may need one day.

Executor Buddy is not a law firm and is not a substitute for a lawyer, financial advisor, or doctor. We don't give legal, financial, tax, or medical advice, and we don't create or check your documents for you. If you need advice about a will, your estate, or your health decisions, please talk to a licensed professional.

When you name someone as an executor, healthcare proxy, funeral planner, or family member in Executor Buddy, you're giving them permission to see the documents you choose to share. This is a convenience — it does not give that person any legal authority, and it does not replace a will or any legal document. The person legally in charge of an estate is decided by a valid will and the court, not by this app.

You're responsible for making sure the documents you upload are accurate, for keeping your login secure, and for choosing who you share with. Please only upload documents you have the right to share.

We protect your information with AES-256 encryption at rest and encryption in transit (HTTPS), and Row-Level Security keeps each user's data separate — the system checks permissions on every action, so trusted contacts can only see what you've allowed. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take protecting your documents seriously.

We collect the information you give us and the documents you upload so we can provide the service. We do not sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Executor Buddy can let the people you've chosen see your shared documents when the time comes. This is meant to make a hard moment a little easier — it does not replace the legal steps of settling an estate.

We work hard to keep Executor Buddy reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Executor Buddy and SixHs Ranch LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date and version above. If you keep using Executor Buddy after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
